I will be holding a TP II Multiplayer, Sunday, May 23, at 5PM EST. Please sign up on this thread with your train info, but first, please read the following items which will insure a fun and smooth session:
1) Milepost on TP II are numbered in the hundreds, not thousands. In other words, if you are at MP 3800.0, you are actually ay MP 380.0. Please do your best to try and remember this.
2) With so few milepost on this route, please keep me informed as best you can on where you are, and often. I may or may not reply back, but I need to here from my trains often so we don't have any problems. For those that don't know the route very well, the sidings going east are Ilmon / Caliente (MP 330-334), Bealville (MP 337-339), Cliff (MP 340-341.5), Rowan (MP 343-345.5), Woodford (MP 347-349), Walong, Loop siding (MP 351-352), and Marcel (MP 354-355). The line is doubletrack from Bakersfield to Bena (MP 328), and from Cable to Mojave (MP 356-380).
3) Please be flexable with your starting point. I may ask some to start from other locations to prevent a one sided session, and also, if you do not have the 2-3 hours it may take to run the route, you can always start midway.
I would like to see a nice mix of trains, so please read what others have signed up for, and try not to run the same thing. SP, UP, BNSF, and ATSF trains are welcome, plus any leased or run through units. Tehachapi during the mergers was home to a wide range of trains; Z's, Stacks, Piggybacks, unit produce and wine trains, roadrailers, grain, coal, manifest, and so on.
Sign up on this thread with your train ID, train info, starting point and time. Please be signed in by 6PM as I start to dispatch then. IP address will come on Sunday before the session is to begin. Hope to see you then.
