So far, the person who calls the session is usually the dispatcher..... but there's no restriction that I'm aware of that says it HAS to be that way....
JBD
Hello!
I agree, there is nothing to prohibit the host having another person dispatch. I have myself dispatched a multiplayer hosted by another player. Unfortunately, I am not experienced with the East River District. I have not run on it and do not have any documentation, so I will refrain from volunteering. Good luck in your search!

If it isn`t hard I think I could take a stab at being the dispatcher. As long as everyone tells me how to be a good dispatcher.
I still need to figure out how to work the teamspeaker thing.
Exactly how do you use it?
If youll tell me how to do everything and tell me how to do it right
I have no problem being the dispatcher.
I might be able to dispatch if need be Friday. I don't know the route like I do Tehachapi, but it is small enough that I should be able to DS with no problems.

Well then, I`ll sign up now. I`ll start at the Bluefield Yard
on Bluefield 4.
My lead engine will be a Norfolk Southern SD70M #2598 with a 39
loaded car coal train.
My train will end at Walton. When calling my train on team speak,
call me "Norfolk Southern 2598"
If you need more info let me know.
Are we starting 6:00 eastern time?
It is 651.31 meters long 5309.2 tons

Ya, that`s a big mile post there. What do you plan on doing?
( PS: Today was also a big day for me, I got baptized at church todasy)
Lets keep in mind, I said "I might be able to Dispatch Friday."
Looking at the May calendar, I see I am marked for the job already, and I also noticed that 2 hours after the East River session, is a KHP session using the same IP address. That too should be interesting.
Not sure about if I will be in town of not this weekend, which is why I said "might be able to". I will let you know a bit later, but it wouldn't be a bad idea to have someone else as back up.

There are a few more days though, might get lucky.

That`s where I should have gone. I got a six pack of running lights
that you put on your trucks and cars for $15.00 and put them on
my "honda fourman 400cc" ( ATV ). They looked cool befor they
quit working today. If you do this, never go though any mud without
the lights and light covers off. I learned that today.

I'll take the DS trick on this session, Chris.
Perhaps we can hold the NS session to a couple of hours and then all switch over to Tehachapi.... Only problem I see is that Tehachapi is payware and I'm wondering if this is the reason that those sessions haven't drawn a big number of ops yet....
Wonder if we could get 3DTrains to help us out along these lines in some way?

Ummm actaully, I don't have another TPII session in the works currently. Thinking about either a ADFRR or Illinois Northern session in the upcoming weeks.
Still unsure of my plans, so maybe it is better if you take over DS'ing. Don't want to wait till the last minute and find out I can't do it.
The first TP II session had 6 trains, quite fun midway through it, while the last one had just 2, but it was still fun as both players are long time Tehachapi Pass foamer friends of mine.

I would like to play this multiplayer, but I think we should start later than 6 eastern because that would only be 3 pacific time. You have a lot more people playing if you start a little later.

There is only one problem with that, there is a Kicking Horse Pass
session two hours after we start. Unless he cancels it.

I`ve played multiplayers before and they all were over two hours long. I haven`t even downloaded East River yet, but I do have KHP.

If someone else would like to host it thats fine too. Because I
think driving this on the tracks is more fun. If I do drive a train
I think I`ll do a loaded coal train starting at the sand tower, go
into the yard to get the train, then make my way down the pass to
Walters Creek.
