Given all of the issues which seem to be prevalent in the other forums and in the interest of having more than just one person doing it, I have asked Lee Kinnamon to serve as co-moderator of this forum.
Lee has accepted and I am pleased to have his expertise and real-world railroading experience available to all of us!

Thanks Jim. I appreciate being asked to serve in this capacity and would like to keep this forum as focused and as positive as possible.
All I expect is that posts remain on-topic and that people behave in a polite and civilized manner. One can object and disagree with others without resorting to personal attacks and a condescending or insulting tone.
We have a number of young people here who are interested in prototypical railroad operations and dispatching. I would encourage those of us who have been at it a bit longer to show patience and restraint in our communications and dealings with them. If it is necessary to correct, please correct with kindness. More importantly, let's be willing to share freely what we know and remember that no one person has all of the answers.
When I was twelve, I had a number of older men at the NRHS Atlanta Chapter's Southeastern Railway Museum take me under their wing to teach me many things about railroading--from train operations to equipment restoration to laying and maintaining track. Had it not been for their kindness and their patience with me, I would probably not have continued with my interest in railroading. I suspect many of us can point to similar experiences from our youth.
Although I have been a bit distracted by a few real railroading issues lately, I intend to get back into this forum and get some multiplayer sessions cooked up. Look for a CSXT M&M SUB session this Saturday, July 17, at 2100 EDT.
Again, I look forward to serving as a moderator and encourage everyone to share his/her ideas and suggestions with me.
Thanks,
Lee
