Congrats to Auran for Trainz going GOLD!

With this, some great new screens have been appearing. The Trainz team has released a "fan pack" located on their Community page that contains some new screens.

Also, Gamespot.com has also posted about 20 new shots of this sim.

What is "going Gold" mean?

Going GOLD is when the final CD has been burned and sent out to the factory to make distribution copies. Once the CD's have been burned and the package put together, the game will ship. It's very exciting!

Clearly by the context of the article/picture, I certainly got that impression. I had just never heard the term before.
