is it possible to use the msts loco's, cars, etc, in trainz, or is it impossible to import them?

Yes, if you have 3DStudioMax.

Do you mean it's possible to import .s files into 3d Max, or just that you can export Max models, originally created with MSTS in mind, to Trainz format?
