The very first 1992 stock was from Tom Beevers. It was only a badly drawn panel with no speedometer.(Hope I'm not too critical...) Then, Just before the W&C was released, Jame Maglo released a totally seperate 1992 stock.

Ecolier 400 - FYI the "bvebrothers" have been publicly caught thieving material from copyright sources. They are persona non grata and should not be mentioned.

I think what is a pity, is the javascript on the page.
I cannot use a download manager to download the stuff, so i never get anything from there.
Can you not put a little link underneath saying, "Or click here"?
it would be helpful for people who have bad connections, or get disconnected quite frequently.

Pete, if you mean using a download manager at SLW, yes, they mess up my logfiles :)
Get yourself a copy of Opera 6, it's VERY good and has a file management window included.

Hi!I'm a new member!
do you guys know that bve brothers said this thing i hate the most:
"Since the Crotrainz forum fell down, we have made this site to show all you what BVE should be like. We dont really believe in "Guidelines" or "BVE rules", why should we? Theres no one left to enforce them and if a train or route becomes available then why can't we use the sounds and objects in it? And whats wrong with using someone elses object or sounds for a train or route?"

Yeah, I've seen this - matters are in hand, hopefully these poisonous creeps will lose their site before long.

What's wrong with using someone else's objects? It makes route developers like myself extremely mad when people pirate our work without permission, that's what's wrong with it! It makes us not want to release our work to the public; after all, why should we? After we've spent countless hours, days, weeks, months and even years perfecting our work, just to have it ripped off by idiots like the so-called "bve brothers"? Maybe I'll put my route on an undisclosed URL when it's completed and only give the address to people I know. If there are idiots like that out there, then I predict that route developers will start doing this and routes will no longer be made available to the general public.

Quite so Jon. I for one am starting to envisage a day when SLW products will only be available to known and trusted people, but at the end of the day it's a self-defeating exercise, 'cuz if no new users can get or try the work there's no expansion of the user base, newbies are discouraged from trying to make anything and as a result we are all the poorer... let's hope that our security model is tight enough.... anyone needs to discuss this matter, mail me at SLW.

If their site is Tom Beevers and John Owen free, then it shall also be Wulf free, Tim Frost free, Steve Green free, Anthony Bowden Free, Jon Guilbus free... the list goes on...
Share your work all you want. But don't go and steal it from others and give it away as your own. NOTHING makes me, and a good deal of BVE developers I know, more angry than that.
Anyone wishing to reach me knows how.
