First, hello to all.Im pretty new to bve and I really enjoy it and would eventually like to contribute.I loaded the Rocky Mt. route and received an error message from Windows:\object\RME\grnsig.b3d(8)error 53 and the same for yelsig, redsig, and 1sig.The files appeared to be in the object folder under those names, and when I clicked "ignore" the route worked fine and there were signals.I'm not sure if those are the ones that are supposed to be missing however. Ive had this happen before with another route or two and Windows has shut the program down;in this case it didnt. Why does it say the files can't be found when they appear to be there?

If you have the latest version, this error will come out. I don't think there was any way to fix it. That's why I didn't upgrade and still using BVE 2.3. :) Maybe it is the compatiblity problem if you are using ME/XP. I am using 98 so not problems with that!

There are errors in the code of objects.
For grnsig.b3d:
open the file using Notepad or another text editor, then replace text in line 8
- from "Load ....\SIGNAL5.BMP"
- to "Load ..\..\..\SIGNAL5.BMP"
For yelsig.b3d:
in line 8
- from "Load ....\SIGNAL4.BMP"
- to "Load ..\..\..\SIGNAL4.BMP"
For redsig.b3d and 1sig.b3d:
in line 8
- from "Load ....\SIGNAL3.BMP"
- to "Load ..\..\..\SIGNAL3.BMP"
Hope this can help.
Cheers,

I'm sorry but that's not true. BVE 2.3 is more of a diagnostics type of bve, spotting errors instead of ignoring them and making do.
