So, how many of you have RRT3 and how is it? What sort of things does it do that RR2 didn't?
Is it worth getting?

Hey James.

I have the game and at first I thought it was not so great, in fact I was disapointed in a way, but I was wrong. After playing RR tycoon 2 for so long I was just blind to the improvements behind the sceens. Sure there is lots of tasty eye candy on top with full zoomable 3d and riding trains but now the trains can choose the best paying consists, like a station manager built in. Once you get 20 - 30 trains running its hard to manage each stop to maximize profits.

Also the game now supports suspension bridges and tunnels. and allows the placement of maintenance and water at spots other than stations.

Additionally your railroad can build industries along your line to support the raw materials you haul and produce goods to haul.

Its a game like its predecessors that grows on you as you play it.

solid 8-10 from me.
