Hmmmm, what's goin on? I have just posted 24 screenshots (which took a lot of work) of how a very powerful utility deals with cookies, internet plugins, and activeX files in the General forum. I have also noticed that a post and several responses to it by ssw96 regading this subject have gone also.

I don't understand! I checked to see if any of the moderators were online, but none of them were. Who is this mysterious moderator X?

Mike

Hi Michael:
If you look back through the forums it appears that the advertising posts have finally been removed.
Sometimes a few lines of text are worth more than 24 screenshots, especially to folks who have a dial up connection. You should have just said you found a "powerful new utility" that does whatever in 25 words or less. Folks wanting more information could then PM or email you. I realize in your zest for the product you may have gotten carried away, and it came across to me as advertising. I get enough SPAM in my e-mails, I don't want to get it through the forum. :-)

Michael:
Thank you for the flowers. I'll have to get my Graflex out sometime.

Just an innocent question with no flames needed, ;-) but Mike I've searched the web high and low and can't seem to come up with any temperature charts for the Cornish coast and since I've never been out of 'my little corner of the world', was curious.

Those are some beautiful pictures, but with only one or two exceptions they look as if they would be from an 'extremely damp, almost bone-chilling' environment. Was wondering if it was just the color filter, my computer or what the weather was really like. Found quite a few beach resorts, but not one pic to see what they looked like and most seemed to have mostly walking paths and related activities, rather than any 'water' activities. Curious minds want to know ;-)

Hi Robert,

All I can say about the photos is that none have been through a any filters or special effects,

All the pics were taken around St Ives Cornwall, England. The pics were taken during a 14 year period, and the change in character of the subject matter is down to the seasons. the colour of the sea and sand can be like a tropical island at times in the summer.

I always try to get down for a big storm to catch the biggies. I get my kicks by going down onto the rocks and getting half-drowned by those monster waves: I remember once that as the big waves were dumping there big loads around me, the sea just rose and the next thing I see is a skyscraper wave with my name on it. I tried to run but but screamed as I tore a calf muscle and a ton of sea water drenched me through.

Hello Cyndi.

So that is why they were removed: I was trying to illustrate something not sell it. Oh well, at least I know now.

"Where have all the flowers gone" I don't know, but here are some more:
