"This is my brother John, and my other brother John. . ." :)

From a CNN blurb:
"John Edwards is ready for this job," Kerry told a cheering crowd.

What was John saying about John 6 months ago? I hardly paid attention then, but it would be interesting to go back and see. I find it humorous when candidates pick former adversaries as running mates. . .

John Kerry is a person who is a dumb idiot. He has used the tax cut for the people who make over 200K to fund programs in every state. Also starting a program to have schools open till 6 o clock is a waste of money. Edwards got a bigger applause then Kerry did in most places. Bush maybe a idiot, but Kerry will f*** this country up big time.

Oh great! One of the two forbidden topics that, sooner or later, is bound to generate into a flame war. (Religion is the other forbidden topic.)

Hillery would have not been a good choice for only one reason, She doesn't want to damage her chances to take control of the country in 2008.

John Edwards is about the best choice for VP out there at this time.

The fun now continues, trying to find the real truth in the massive amounts of propraganda and historical spin that will spew forth from the liberal news media in the next few months.

Liberal Democrats believe that us voters are so stupid that we have long forgotton the bitter primary fight of six months ago. The liberal news media will certainly keep it a secret as well.

Now, if John Edwards were a Republican and had been picked to replace Cheney for VP,

That was pretty good!

Ah, it happens all the time and these guys get over it. George I was pretty nasty to ol' Ron, and they seemed to work OK together.

As for the liberal controlled media, I guess that tosses out a good portion of who's out there these days. Fox and the rest of the conservative media will certainly play up the primary battles, but it's just another red herring. It's like the argument that Cheney's heart is too frail to be VP - something to argue about so that we don't put the real issues on the table.

I hear that the Bush campaign is already saying Edwards was the 2nd choice, behind McCain. Now if McCain would run, there's someone who would be a shoo-in, in my book. He'd really mess up the liberal and conservative factions!

Oh, nothing special. Just enslaving humanity and becoming absolute dictator of the world. Oh, and he doesn't care about gun control laws one way or the other, seeing that he can't be hurt by guns. ;-)

His other campaign slogan (KNEEL BEFORE ZOD!!) seems a little unimaginative, however.

>>>What was John saying about John 6 months ago?<<<

And what were the Bushies saying about John McCain 4 years ago? Now Bush ran an ad today with Mr. McCain praising La Bush. I don't understand, I thought McCain hated Bush 43, he surely disagrees with a lot of his policies.

Oh well, such is politics.

Lou Dobbs had a quote from someone tonight, don't remember who it was: Politicians worry about the next election, statesman worry about the next generation.

I don't see many statesman in either party anymore, it's all about cover your ass and rake in the bucks.

November should be interesting.

Off we go,

Bob and O'Riles
