This might be the first picture I've ever taken that focuses on a bus... But of course, I could never have avoided the MP15's in the background. ;)
June 6, 2004, the Casey Stengal bus yard (or whatever you call a parking lot for buses... :P)

Thats a nice picture, I haven't ridden the bus since I've gotten my license. I am glad too.

Bus Depot.... DEPOT. The Casey Stengal Bus Depot... I should know that...
Mannnn, it's hard finding what model this bus is!
*searches TransiTalk for 15 mins*
OK, as far as I know, it *might* have been built by General Motors, but I've never seen a bus this short...

Looks like a GM New Looks...but don't count me on it.
As for it being small, I suppose you can order busses in different sizes, ie. NJT has larger RTS's (Much Traveled Routes) and shorter RTS's (Less traveled routes).

Looks like a GMC Newlook to me, probably a 35 footer.
Although I've never seen one with only three of the large windows on the side....

Hey a New Look with AC... TTC used to have a couple of them I think, but they got phased out quick. I agree with Dave, I've never seen a New Look with 3 windows... most I've seen have 4 or even 5. Crazy New Yorkers :P

And, of course, here are the MP15AC's, with another view of the depot. *cough*
June 6, 2004, MP15AC's idleing at the Shea Stadium station of the Long Island Rail Road. The load in the 2-bay hoppers appeared to be ballast, and had "LI" markings. Note the No. 7 Train in the background.

I was thinking about making one of those for MSTS to put in the car spawner.

Mike, the buses you're referring to are the Volgren bodied Mercedes-Benz O.405NH. Some (and thank God only some)are powered by natural gas; thet rest are of course diesel!:D
Merc will soon replace (I think) that model by the OC500LE (nat. gas) and O500LE (diesel).
I've never been a fan of Volgren, with their aluminium bodies(that's just me), poor finish, excessive vibration and what-not. Also, the skids (from coachbuilding) on the front tend to catch the road while the buses negotiate some rather tight turns.
I just wish Transperth had a more diversified fleet, i.e. more Renaults, MANs, Volvos, etc(and with the manufacturers' original bodies)! I'd be a happy chappy!:D
