Hey everyone. I am getting my paycheck on Friday and I was wondering what route from MLT I should get besides Cascades Crossing? I was thinking KHP 2?
And another question, do the MLT addons have them cheesy grade crossing lights like the default ones on Marias Pass??
Thanks everyone.

Nope.......they flash instead just like the real thing.

I would get KHP 2 over Sandpatch. Sandpatch is all double track, so not as enjoyable as far as I see it, and its also shorter than KHP 2 by about 40 miles. Don't get me wrong, Sandpatch is great, I have them both, but KHP 2 just keeps me coming back. Just ran it yesterday as a matter of fact.

I have both Sandpatch and KHP v2. I highly recommend KHP v2 over Sandpatch, too.

Depends on what you like. I have Sandpatch and consider it my best route.

What trains do you want to run? That would be my first question. Either way, understand that Cascades is most likely way more advanced than anyother MLT route. Not to say that you wont enjoy the older routes, but they do have less detail.

Either way, all of MLT's products have their own specific high points. Take care,-Jeffrey

Hey, Thanks. I think I will go with KHP 2. About the lights, do they turn on and off or are they on all of the time like some I've seen?
Cheers,
Morgan

They stay on all the time....but flash(ya never know they can invent the ones were it can turn on and off whenever a train comes anytime soon).....anyways go with KHP2 like others said.....I have it too and its fun and realistic and a challenge to run trains on it .

Morgan, sounds like a plan! Be sure to let us know how you like the routes.

Oh, one other thing, I know you're getting Cascades, but are you also getting the Southern Pacific heritage packs that have been recently released, or just the route? Have a nice day,-Jeffrey

Thanks, And I didn't plan on getting the SP Heritage Packs in the near future (maybe in a couple of weeks I will). I just got a summer job so money is just starting to come in so I have the ability now, anyway, Thanks,
Cheers,
Morgan
P.S. I was wondering about the lights because I have CN Blackfoot, a good route and all but I noticed (it could only be my computer)that at any angle the lights become a little series of red lines.

I have Sandpatch it's a nice run from Cumberland to Rockville(?), nice scenery, etc. But from the looks of kicking horse pass I'd go with it.

What about The Bridge Line? Those Alco's and SD45's. Now it they could only get the C628's to shake...

Also, I love KHP2. And I love the SD40-2's that come with it.
