"Testing" sorry I dont really know where to go to test my new avatar.

The "place to go" is the Preview button at the bottom of your potential post. You never need to actually post as "test" message. If it works, just use the back button on your browser and forget about it.

Near as I can determine…, the preview button previews text only and not pictures.
It was the quality of the pictures that I was testing for.
I felt it was discrete in doing so here in the yard as opposed to other more topical areas of the community.
However, thank you for your input.

Well, I don't know all the details. But that's what I used to get my Nickle Plate icon sized and positioned correctly
