Accelerometer / Grade Suggestion

How about an accelerometer module for engines that have them, and for the HUD? You could turn it on or off in the HUD. The readout would be in +/- mph/kph per minute.

Here is a real one. Below the 60 mph speed it says -.6 mph per minute.

Also for the HUD would be a grade readout in %, as in the Trainz custom hud (activated in "surveyor").

There is an accelerometer of sorts on many MSTS units - the SD50s I use on the Rollins Pass route spring to mind, as well as some NALW GE units (I think), and the NALW genesis units. There is also one in the default Dash-9 cab. I would imaginge that as it is default technology for MSTS, it will be present in KRS.

To my memory, there is no accelerometer in the default MSTS dash 9. I'm sure I would have seen it. The HUD estimates your speed in a minute based on your settings and the line ahead, but it's not the same thing.
