Hi all,

We have a video for you all to download from the website - check it out at www.railsimulator.com!

Thanks Sabrina for the update. Good to know that you will have mode videos towards the release. The texture details are finer than Trainz as I notice.

Thanks, Sabrina, EXCELLENT !

Are you by any chance testing me to check whether I am still paying attention ? ;-)

There has been something about this BLACK-5 refusing to stay on the rails since the first wallpaper of it ! :7

Take care, O t t o.

P.S.: Also noticed a different to the previously shown video method of placing tracks, like in the MSTS Route Editor ! Does that mean we shall have properly designed functioning switches too ?

Thanks for the update, the syncronizing of the sound and wheel rotation of the steam engine is excellent.

However I would rather see said steam engine sitting on the rails of your turntable. :o

You got me by ten minutes OttO.

The devil is in the details folks! And yes, I do realize this is a work in progress and to pleas take our critiques as they are meant to be. . .constructive, NOT disparaging at all. Keep up the very nice work you and your team are doing.

Something else I have noticed since the first pictures from the Leipzig show appeared, there seems to be track missing between the turntable track and the outside one, the turntable track also does not line up with, but the loco seems to be running on where it should be !

That's what we are here for, spot things like that and mention them ! ;-)

Looking at the rest of the video of the steam loco, the wheels are firmly on the track. I believe the problem may lie in the turntable itself rather than a more general problem.
I thought the steam sound was good and enjoyed the views inside the cab. I'd love to see and hear more.

It seems to me that this time Kuju developing team succeed in big time. Even in this pre-Alpha version, the gameplay is very smooth, without any visible dropouts in frame rate.
Congratulations Kuju.

Very nice! I'm going to buy it.

What's the story on being able to make a 2-story building as big as a huge office building?

I hope that buildings will have a set default size.

Awesome. People walking on and off the train! The tools look more usable by individuals who have limited knowledge on 3d textures. The sounds effects are very good.

Thanks.

Great video. I am impressed with Kuju's openness and willing to share and communicate with it's customer base during development and want to convey my appreciation. What many other companies don't understand is that this is part of the fun, the anticipation.
