Time and weather

Hello Sabrina and KUJU crew,

I saw screens posted on this forum (link to IGN and others). On two or three screenshots was rainy weather, so....
The question is, will be changeable weather in KRS? for example activity starts in 10.00 am and its sunny day, but after some hours on duty clouds will come and after that you will face a typical summer rainstorm. I think this can add much more realism in the game.
My second question is about time, will be time also "running"?

It runs realtime in MSTS (even in Route editor goes realtime), so I don't see, why it shouldn't in KRS.

I'd like to see altitude based weather. For instance, it might be dry and sunny, 70 degrees in Denver, and 25 degrees with blizzard conditions at the Moffat Tunnel, only 40 miles west...

i hope there more then rain and snow. i hope there thunderstorms with or without rain, maybe hail.

Waking up my old brain's software designer part, I can think of a method which allows the creation of specific weather conditions in activities, or Scenarios as KRS calls them, where either regional or time zones can be specified, each with their own type of weather, it smoothly changing from one to the other and not sunshine one second and hail and thunder the next ! ;-)

Another option is to do it dynamically and at random within a specific season, like changing from Summer sunshine to rain or Winter clear to snowing, or linking that also to altitude changes ?

We shall have to wait and see what the capable KRS designers and coders will come up with.
