Took a trip to the Southeastenr Railway Museum last Friday. It is located in Duluth, on the northeast side of the Atlanta Metro area.

I had asked on of the guys there about a GA RR (can't recall offf the top of my head what type or unit number )diesel that was nearly completion, and he offered to take my down to the shops to see it as well as the other stuff they had down there, but I had my daughter with me, and I didn't want to take her down there, not to mention it was about 95 last Friday and we were both ready to get back in the AC. Really neat place though I must admit, far better than I thought and with the work being done to expand the place, it will only get better. Too bad we probally won't be living here when they complete the Roundhouse and everything else, though land is already being cleared away.
