Yesterday.
CSX Q411-26 at Brunswick MD, on the low grade line waiting for a fresh crew. Engines were ES44DCs #5374 and 5373. After shooting some pictures, the engineer noticed me packing up my gear. He came out of the cab and told me Q296 was on the way if I'd like to catch it.

Rubbed on 5373's fuel tank; "Conrail Real Railroad"

Q411 had 25 cars, and this was one of the first. Never seen one like it. It's a quad hopper rated at 100 tons.

A short summer shower followed me to Point of Rocks. Here is U734 rolling eastbound, right along the C&O Canal at Point of Rocks. These gondolas have become common in the past half decade. The carry NYC reporting marks like exConrail equipment, but are stenciled with markings indicating they're formerly owned private lessor cars.

I shot video of everything except MARC P871 and Amtrak PO30 which went by during a downpour. I'm having trouble uploading videos, so nothing is on Youtube yet.
After running a couple of trains, everything stopped as crews layed down new rail on track #2 at Weverton/Knoxville. All the trains were within the first hour or so, and then everything stopped. We wound up just driving around, and went as far west as Duffields. It turned out to be great day for a drive.
At the end of the day, I shot this picture of myself. :)
