trouble is....its full scale.

Actually...its a pic of #4017 with a coat of primer in 1989 :)

Dumb question...

Why primer the drive rods? I'd just buff'em up nice and shiney and put some sort of anticorrosion clear paint, liquid, or something on it... then just let'em get good and greasy
