It was raining today, and as I was trying to get decent shots of cars that were accelerating away, I ended up with water drops on my lens.

I don't photoskin, but I try to upload pics (to rrpicturearchives.com) that would be of use to a photoskinner, i.e. side and end shots.

Would the pics like this, with the light spot being the water drop, be of use to a respectable photoskinner??

I want to keep up my own idea of quality.

Yeah. It was probably the local heading up from Atlanta to Cartersville. I caught it when I was doing my weekly 'Stand in the road and take pics of the GNRR at Elizabeth.

The engines, SD40-2 GCFX 3074 (not any good shots) and B36-7 CSX 5848 (not any good shots) had finished making a drop for the GNRR, and I noticed them running back to the head of their standing train.

I like my camera more and more. It's a 6 MP Kodak Z650, and when I get home, I can zoom into the pic, and make out just about any detail I want to, seen from the 40 or 50 feet away to get most of the loco in the shot.

I guess I'll upload the pics anyway. For the first time, I leveled the pics out, so even with the spots, they look better than the rest I have up there. I may re edit and re upload the older ones.
