sorry, that picture is not from the Netherlands Is maybe in Germany or Denmark, but not The Netherlands.

Hello,

1: This is not in the Netherlands, this is a former DSB(Denmark Railways), but it is working now in Sweden. This engine is a sort of look a like of a f-unit, the are call't Nohab's. It's also partly GM.

We have the 2nd series NOHAB's running here in Australia. The MZ Class, same guts as a SD45-2.

Thanks for the links Rutger.

An interesting locomotive although the European loading guage (size), buffers and chain coupling must have made it look odd to Americans in the film, even if they didn't know anything about trains!

Nice to see so many working and in such good condition!
