Hi,
Last week I travelled to various nostalgic locations in former Eastern Germany, highlight were three days of freight-only Plandampf Werratal on the line between Eisenach and Meiningen including the heaviest Plandampf train of all time:
Fall Steam Tour 07 - Part 1: Harz, October 10
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JOXkM_zVnp8
A full day of Harz meter gauge steam railroad at Wernigerode, Drei Annen Hohne and on Brocken mountain. Including steamers 99 222 and 99 5902 Mallet.
Fall Steam Tour 07 - Part 2: Plandampf Werratal, October 11
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2h-Sm2Zh2l4
Morning and afternoon of the first Plandampf day with steamers 41 1144, 44 1486, 52 8075 and 52 8079. Including gravel train with 44 pulling, 52 pushing.
Fall Steam Tour 07 - Part 3: Plandampf Werratal Super Heavy, October 11
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0VY0gED_TGo
Just about the super heavy gravel train (over 2500 tons, 30 cars), 44 and 52 pulling, another 52 pushing from Bad Salzungen.
Fall Steam Tour 07 - Part 4: Plandampf Werratal, October 12
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G2tk_ICBsUU
Morning and afternoon of the 2nd Plandampf day, including steam train meeting at Walldorf an der Werra.
Fall Steam Tour 07 - Part 5: Plandampf Werratal, October 12-13
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6MPUjhcHPH0
Evening of the 2nd and morning of the 3rd day. Including heavy lumber train headed by 44, pushed by 52.
Fall Steam Tour 07 - Part 6: Plandampf Werratal, October 13
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c-Efwk1pOi8
The 3rd day including class 52 double header in front of a long lumber train.
Fall Steam Tour 07 - Part 7: Plandampf Werratal Finale, October 13

The last scene of this event, possibly the last steam hauled freight train on this line as it is getting modernized and there probably won't be any more Plandampf events held here. 52 8079 and its crew definitely gave their best to create a memorable moment, after the train had passed the photographers stood in silence for a few minutes.
Fall Steam Tour 07 - Part 8: Dresden, October 14
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dBdEqTgQQek
Relaxing last day with ICE-T cabview at Riesa, a ride on the Lößnitzgrund narrow gauge steam railroad in the afternoon (including tramway crossing) and river Elbe bridge with view of Dresden city sights in the evening.
