Nice shots! Steamtown is the only place for Easterners to marvel at this monster of a locomotive. I'll be up there on November 3 for the Lackawanna Railfest. Hope to take photos of this and all of the other equipment there.

I stopped at Steamtown myself when I was up in that neck of the woods.
Due to where they have the Big Boy on display it's hard to get really good shots of it.

Plus the sheer size makes fitting it into a frame pretty hard! Enjoyed your shots - I have a virtually identical shot of the 567! You caught some stuff I missed, so thanks for the link!

i posted kind of late but the locomotive is displed near the parking lot so its really hard to see with all the cars and train cars
