Updated Buffalo & Pittsburgh 45's would be nice
Maybe a NYSW 3618 also.
Arizona & California would be great too.

Ummm, Wisconsin Central? Only the prettiest scheme to ever grace a SD45 or an F45!

Preferred in a clean coat of paint with little to no weathering!

HCRY doesn't have their SD45's anymore....they are all down in PA. working on Homer City Coal Trains on the B&P. But I do agree HCRY would look hott!!!! Orange & Black. And by the way the best paint scheme hands down to "grace a 45" is the Warbonnet scheme. I know exactly how the warbonnet scheme came about, you know why my father was 1 of 4 who brought the paint scheme back. I kid you not!! So don't tell me WC was the best, yes they are good, but ATSF could have taken them over in a heartbeat. That's ok though CN got to em anyways.

Your smokin something right? Sure, the silver/red looks great, but the blue and yellow stands no chance against the maroon and gold!

And for you, the same unit!

*I agree, the lazy nose job does look retarded!!!!*

And now that it is draped in an atractive scheme.

See the amazing difference?

Well at some point I was going to use my F45 model as a base for a new SD45, but that still may be a ways off.

best scheme to grace a SD45 would be Southern Pacifics Daylight scheme on #7399. even though these were called SD44r's, they were SD45's at heart. Long live the espee!!!!!!

Make that a high hooded Southern SD45.

I think we need a high hood, and low hood version, that way everyone is happy! :+

I'd like to see an Seaboard Coast Line SD45 and the SD45-2.

(w00t) for ATSF!

Heh, if WC SD45's weren't so damn common, maybe I'd have a bit more respect for them...on the other hand, I've only ONCE seen an ATSF SD45 in mainline service, and even that was sublettered for MPIX.

Nick Rose did a SCL SD45-2 on Ted Curphey's model. It should work for ya.. it's in the f/l.

Btw, Mike, You won't be able to alpha out that part. When the model was built, the alpha normal was not set for that specific part, instead it was set Solid Normal, which means nothing can be done to it but painting it.

Ummm........ Common? 23 SD45s, once 111, are not "common". Im talking about paintschemes, not how rare/common something is. You can blame BNSF for the rarity of the engines.

Ive also only seen 1 SD45, the 6416 I believe it was NREX.

judging by the lack of ditchlights, the SLI model.

what about CSX?

What do you mean? Are you trying to say you want a CSX SD45 made, or that the model was CSX, cause I thought it was originally Santa Fe.
