Hi all,
I'm wondering if anyone might have plans for the Southern F-14 Class 4-6-0s. I'm interested in creating #1102, famous for hauling the Fast Mail to it's doom on September 27, 1903 in the Wreck of the Old 97. Or, does anyone know where I could find the plans?

Is this where I make a sarcastic comment about Iran and TF30 flameouts?

I have two Southern 4-6-0 drawings...One is a full set of F-1 #949. The other is side elevation of the locomotive #327

Well, I found a website that has Southern steam locomotive diagrams and thought I was on to something...not! It had no diagram of the F-14 class. I'll keep looking, though. If anyone else could look around it would be greatly appreciated.

Hi all,
I just looked at the diagrams again looking at the locomotive number designations and found that the 1102 was actually a Class F-8 4-6-0. Everything points to the fact that it is the actual class the 1102 belonged to: it says, 'Baldwin 1903 and 1904' (1102 was built in 1903) and it lists, as members of this class, 'Eng's Nos. 1085-1107 - 68" wheels. 1108-1112 - 68"'. Therefore I must conclude that the 1102 was actually a Class F-8, not a Class F-14.

Well, now that I've found out that the 1102 was an F-8, does anyone have any diagrams, at least the front of the engine or the front or back of the tender?
