Something I built for my route, got a few things to add, and it will be complete.
Anyone interested?

Well actually, I got one of them in the works now. It seems that non of the bridges around fit well with the B&M standards, so I am gonna have to create my own.
Does 200 feet length work for you? becuase that is the length I am building them.

I got these to do:
Single Track Deck Girder
Double track thru truss bridge
double track plate girder.

Do you know the length of that bridge? I am guessing it's 70 feet long.. maybe 100, not sure.

Damn. I wish I had a few more miles of track that needed to be laid out, Because I could have used something like that for my route progress. I guess if I decide to do a version 2 of my route which will be in the high mountains. I could use it very easily. Version 2 is still a thought and I still have alot to do with version one before its release. Great bridge by the way.

From my archives.

This viaduct is part of the Milwaukee Road collection but is not a seperate file which is attached below. You will need MRBridge.ace and MRBridgb.ace which is part of my generic ace file downloads srvbrtex.zip

Ron, your bridges are nice, but unfortunately, none fit the ones needed for my route, and I am assuming Nick route also. Which is why I built my own, using your wonderful rusty textures you provided us. :)

Difficult to keep up with the endless number of bridges out there. That's why I made the textures available.

A way to improve your bridges;

When making hollow open web girders, which are the main structural supports on the bridge, they need to have the inside polys. This avoids the vanishing effect when looking through one. To prevent MSTS from highlighting the inside of such girders, set the materials to TransDrkShd for the inside polys. It adds more polys, total of 8 for the square or retangle tube, but the results are much nicer. Web I beams use 6 polys. Internal cross bracings can use the a, b, c, etc version of the texture so the entire brace uses just two polys. Long beams can use tiling of the texture so that a 20 foot tube girder or a 200 foot multisegimented textured tube girder will use the same number of 8 polys. Same for cross bracing on the bottom of the bridge, the tiled 2 poly TransNorm material section will look like it is made up of many polys. If you have a web for the bottom or one side only, you can use the tube as is with no inside polys and SolidNorm material set as the web cutout is a darker color of the painted surface. That's how the Milwaukee Road truss was done.

Waiting on the release of an elevated route as I made a kit of elevated sections for the route which features sharp curved sections for such urban routes for X-Track. (Want to be sure that all bugs are worked out of this elevated bridge kit.)

Ok, thanks for the tips Ron. Also thanks for your textures, they work well on anything. :) That goes for your wonderful buildings too.

Does anyone have double-track arch bridges? In particular, I'm looking for something similar to Ron's Ohio Crossing, but in double track.

From the archives. Attachment 11949.zip. Uses the MRBridge.ace and the custom texture 11950.zip. It is an alpha texture and will show open lattace and not the black retangles.

This is a 526 foot double track arch truss bridge of a similar design as the Ohio Crossing bridge.
