Hey, folks. Since this has been turning into a bit of a request forum, shall we spice it up with some more screens? Still a work in progress, I based this station off of the depot in Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania for use on my route. Once finished, it will represent the fictitious Charlottesville depot. The other side is nearly done, but needs to be cleaned up some more before I show it. ;)

Sweet. How is it on polys? Does the eave detail add too many?

Great job.

It will be about 1,500 polys after I export it, which is mostly due to the eaves. I don't mind it being that big, though, since it is a focal point of the town. I figure I should make this computer work for me, so why not? :-) Thanks for the comments, guys.

Nice work Toby. Id place it on a route just to use it. :)

Are you going to release this wonderful depot, Toby? I sure could use it an a small fictional route Im doing.

Fantastic! Looks very much like the GTR/CN kind of 'static designs' they used to use for their stations. Your model reminds me very much of the station in Haliburton, Ont. in it's style. Excellent detail you've got on it as well.

Would very much like to snag this one too! :)

I'm flattered! I haven't decided what to do with it quite yet. My intention was to use it on a route I've been fiddling with, but as it is? I'm waiting for a new simulator to come out, if one ever does. The current route editor is just too damn hard to use. If I do release it, there's one thing I want to fix, which is the ceiling above the platform. It's a solid color right now, and it looks really terrible. I should have skinned it.

Anyway, sometime I'll go back and adjust that, and we'll see what becomes of it.

Though I haven't seen the 'backside' of this station, the roof and all looks good to me from the angle you're showing it at. And though as difficult as RE is, I think it's what we have to live with for some time.

I know I can give your station a good home without too much problem. ;)
