Can anybody redo this grass shape to where it covers alot more ground than what it does now? What I really need is a set of shapes with the same grass but covering 10 X 10 m, 20 X 20m, up to 50 X 50m so I don't have to use as many and cause my object count to high in some tiles. If anybody can help it would be greatly appreciated. Just let me know and I'll send you the files to do it. Thanks

Hi Ernie,

Have a look at my grass clumps in the F/L. They cover about the sizes you are looking for, you just needed to retexture them! Search for MSGrass.zip. Also, please check your email, you should have received more grass. :-)

Hi Michael,

Great shape for all sorts of vegetation! I had already done cattails and grass on treeline type shapes, decided to try them on yours and they work very nicely. I did run into 1 problem though, it seemed as if the shadow side had a much different color than the sun side. Looking at the texture mode in SFM, I noticed that it was set to "normal", when the mode for the cruciform tree shapes is "Crcfrm". I tried that, and it solved the problem.

Here's the cattails too:

Thanks for providing these!

Michael, I would like to notify you that the distribution of grass in general and especially to underage people is strictly prohibited by the law! :+

Hi Timken, Micha & Sebastian

@ timken: That vegetation looks super good! Did I understand you correctly, that's a re-skin of Micha's MS grass shapes? Any chance for a release in the scenery objects section of the f/l?

...especially when it is distributed in clumps!

> Have a look at my grass clumps (...)

Chances are good that I'll put these in the file library, here or over at Elvas Tower. I've also done small fir trees, great for regrowth in clear cuts or tree farms.

Ironically, speaking of "grass" I quit using the stuff when I turned 40 (I'll be 55 in a couple weeks). However, my wife has lymphoma (cancer)and is doing chemo (99% chance of full recovery). She is using it for nausea control and appetite increase. I'm now her "State of Oregon Licensed Provider", growing 6 plants legally! More ironic, I like elderberry wine, which she makes for me, but doesn't drink!

For several years now, a friend and I've thought of doing a fantasy route, the Veri-Stonia Mountain Line. Winding through the hills, with giant mushrooms along the tracks, ending up in the timber harvest area of Redwood size plants. Needless to say, the scenery would be on the psychadelic side! Don't know if it will ever happen, but it could be fun.

It's in the file library over at Elvas Tower forum:

I've been super busy this last week or so, so I haven't had time to upload the small fir trees, blackberry brambles or cattails. Maybe in the next few days, I'll be able to take a break and do so.
