Has anyone thought about doing a small town rual american courthouse? It is something no one has done yet for MSTS, and could come in use for alot of routes. Just a typical courthouse would suit for most locations and add alot.

Anyone interested?

Yes, I am planning to do one. For my route I need to do the Teton County Courthouse in Choteau, MT. It was built quite close to the railroad tracks (GN, Milw) and as far as I could tell from pictures and maps it should be visible from the tracks. I cannot tell when I will get around to building it, though, as it is on the part of the Hi-Line route I was planning to detail last (the branches west of Great Falls). If this building is kind of the like you need for a route, please let me know so I can hurry up.

Here is a picture:

Hi,

Here is the courthouse, a bit freelanced though:
http://forums.flightsim.com/vbts/up1/115054.jpg

Some specs:
- 1000 polies (I know, a bit much, but it is mainly due to the complicated geometry of the building and the fact that I put all windows as separate parts (using halfbright for them)
- snow textures
- shared textures with other of my buildings
- roughly 22x22 meters

I will upload it as soon as testing was successful.

Actually, someone else has done a courthouse, but it is on a payware route. It is on the Thompson extension of his Canton Route. A nice little rural building too.
