hi...after doing the update for the csx western and atlantic (calhoun holdout) the 7 miles of new track on the south end is there as is the additional trackage in the activity editor..however the one activity titled Northbound General Merchandise does not seem to work correctly...it starts out the same where you are holding the main for a southbound gen merch. train to pass then its on to resaca for a double meet..Previously a hot stack train was waiting to go south..afer you got into the passing track. Then a second southbound follows a few minutes later...now nothing seems to take place there at resaca..i waited there over 25 minutes....i can restore original route if no fix is made..thanks for a great route...bob

A fix will be made available for this. I have been able to duplicate the problem, but i'm not exactly sure what is causing it. The only change I made to the activity was changeing the path file on train AI-1 so that it would go past the south end of MM instead of disappearing from view when it hit the mainline again.

It is possible that the addition of seven miles of track has somehow fudged up the activity. If this is so, then I will have to remake the activity from the beginning.

Usually if any changes to to the track have been made that would affect the path it's going to cause problems. When this happens the only option left is to redo the activity.

That's the conclusion i've come too. I'm going to request that the original activity be pulled, and i'm doing a rework of this one.

The thing that gets me about this is that even though the two AI Loco's no longer show up Resaca when they are supposed to, the Route "VCR" in the Activity Editor shows everything happening as normal - all meets, stops, and starts happen as they always have.

A patch for the activity is currently in testing, and should be uploaded later today.

That sounds good. It's good to know that you're on top of it. I like this route alot.

does anyone know who created this route, and how I might get his/her email address?

i tried downloading this route, and then when going into MSTS it doesn't show up on my route list..... however theres a calhounholdout folder in my train simulator/routes directory...

what did I do wrong? I can't find an install.batch file

i know what the problem is, I just don't know what to do to fix it....

when i went into the route and activity editors the "calhoun holdout" folder showed up, so when I clicked on it to open it I got an error message saying "track database not read"

so the route is installed, but apparently its not being read

Since the original file was removed where can we find the equipment and consist files for the activity?

I've e-mailed him twice and still haven't gotten a response. I was trying to get the files from the original northbound gm freight. It contained the locos and consist files.

The updated Activity files for the NBGM has been uploaded. The filename is csxnbgm3.zip. The file should be available later today or tomorrow.

A couple of small changes have been made to the activity. It now starts at the bottom of Hall's Hill, which is more in line with the prototype event. Some very small changes have been made to the cabview of the SD40-2, and the activity has been tested several different times to ensure that it works correctly (Read the "Q&A" file in the README DOCS folder for more info).

Sorry it took so long to get the update out, but I kept going over it to make sure it worked correctly this time.
