Curious where this L&I route is. I checked out the old website that had one on there and it said the bandwith exceeded for the day. This is everyday though. Is anyone going to possibly do the route to completion?

As I noted about the Conrail Indy version 2 route not including a longer Louisville Secondary. I am planning on connection the Conrail Indy route to the Louisville Secondary. The Madison line(South Columbus Runner) at present goes out just past the Smurfit-Stone switch about 20 car lengths East. There really isn't much industry on that line itself. The North Vernon section to this day actually exists because of Sonoco. The interchange goes direct from CSX to the City of Madison Railway. If I were to extend the line, the interchange could be by Downtown Columbus. The line in Madison is pretty cool and could include the famous grade. With all that said...
The LIRC itself isn't all that amazing. Only a few industries on the North End. Now Conrail times were a little better. Edinburgh having a 12 hour switch job in itself. The Madison job out of Columbus being 12 hours. There was more to switch. I was curious about the route because the trackage base would be there and I wouldn't have to be so tedious about getting it started.

Kenny,
Aren't they putting in a new automobile plant down south of Greensburg? Almost every little town through the area used to have a feed mill that had tracks. I lived over in Waldron back in 1975-78. It will be great to see more traffic on the track down to Greensburg.
I would think there would be some sidings in the Shelbyville area with General Electric having had a big plant there.
Just what time era are you making your route?

Depending on what the demand would be. New York Central and Hill Yard as a hump yard would be cool as well. The Honda plant I believe is going to be a good source of traffic. As for the NYC era, I would need a lot of info for it.
