Hi Sam,

Yes, I think it is very good. I would suggest having your world objects density slider at 100% to see everything, somethings like concrete bridges may not appear if your object density is below a 100. The route is not quite complete, the readme states that the author inteads to add to it over time.

Cheers

I firmly believe that routes should not be posted for downloading unless they are complete.

I'll ask the obviouse question. What is a complete route?

Eric

I'll give you the obvious answer. You should know.

So, if I decide that a route is complete then is it OK to upload it or does everybody have to agree that the route is complete before it's OK to upload it?

Regards,

Eric

The route says there is 500 miles of track. If all you want to do is drive a train from point A to point B then the route should meet your needs. However, if you want switching, then that is a horse of a different color. A check in the AE showed that there are only a handful of switching tracks for the entire 500 miles of track. There is a few yards scattered along the track where some switching could be done.
I checked out the city of Pasco using Google Earth and compared it with the tracks shown using the AE--there is just no comparison. Pasco is loaded with yards (not just one) and several commercial spur tracks that would have made great switching. Much of the area is not detailed on Google Earth.

If you are looking for prototype reproduction then this is obviously not it. The builder apparently concentrated upon quantity of track miles rather than quality of realistic detail. This route seems to replicate some payware developers who work under the same premise.
