If you've experienced operating problems with your Raildriver and MSTSbin 1.6, here is how to fix the problem.

(1) uninstall MSTSbin 1.6 by going to Program Files - Add / Remove Software. Find the MSTSbin 1.6 upgrade and uninstall.

(2) copy and paste the following into your hud_dsl2.dat file for each font instance, except for the Warnings1 and Warnings2 sections: TrGUI_Region_Font ( 9 255 0 0 )

(this makes the text the proper color for your Raildriver software to read)

(3) Reinstall MSTSbin 1.6, but leave the option for the transparent gui UNCHECKED

I made these changes this morning, and everything works perfectly. Raildriver software reads the information off of the HUD display and functions like a virtual keyboard to input the proper commands into MSTS.

(1) uninstall MSTSBin 1.6 by going to Program Files - Add / Remove Software. Find the MSTSBin 1.6 upgrade and uninstall.

Wrong ! MSTSBin 1.6.1 must be un-installed using it's Uninst_MSTS PATCH*.exe in the folder where the updated Train.exe is !

(2) copy and paste the following into your hud_dsl2.dat file for each font instance, except for the Warnings1 and Warnings2 sections: TrGUI_Region_Font ( 9 255 0 0 )

Wrong ! It's the hud_elec2.dat which had a problem, it's text lines colors being yellow, I mentioned to George and supplied a fix for here: www.otto-wipfel.co.uk/downloads/msts-hud.zip

(3) Reinstall MSTSBin 1.6, but leave the option for the transparent gui UNCHECKED.

Not necessary, George no longer supplying any of the 3 HUD files with MSTSBin 1.6.1 updates !
