MSTS BIN 1.6.1 and Raildriver problem

Hi Folks,
I recently used the rear cab maker utility for several of the diesel engines that are installed. I now get a message telling me that the rear cab capability is enabled. However, the raildriver does not work correctly anymore.

With the RD turned on I can not get the reverser, or either of the brake levers to function. Neither will the keyboard controls for these levers function. This even occurs for a steam engine (for which I have not made a reverse cab).

If I do not turn the RD on, the keyboard functions correctly.

I've checked the HUD colours and they meet the published (on TSDF) requirements.

Anyone have any idea on what may be the problem?

O.K., tested my RAILDRIVER with my DASH-9 in a 1.6.1 train.exe route and it does it too, the visible cab controls oscillating and not holding their settings as per the RAILDRIVER controls.

Displaying the F5 HUD before pressing the RAILDRIVER's "Run/Stop" also helps to stop the 3rd part of it toggling on and off, it sometimes does. There is also a repeated stuttering at short intervals, continuously jerking what is displayed on screen !

The keyboard driving keys move the cab controls but revert to the settings of the RAILDRIVER handles, it being in control, overriding the keyboard, it does do with all versions of the Train.exe.

Reported it to George for him to look into that as far as 1.6.1 is concerned.

Thanks Otto,
that's exactly the type of problem I've been having. Plus, the reverser keeps thinking it's in reverse, when the handle is in the forward position.
