HI,

I'm hoping for some free time around the holidays and plan to try the BIN.

Looking over these threads, I see there "was" (I hope) an issue that was causing the uninstall file to not work right. I have to admit that I am not one to mess with the registry, so the 4 pages on that thread got over my head.

However, is there still an issue with the installer/uninstall file?

Also, I tend to always have installers install to a temp folder, and then I move the files so I know what is happening.

Will that work with the BIN, or are there other things the installer does that are critical to the installation?

Thanks for any info.

I am also curious if there is a list of keyboard commands to access all of the new goodies. Are they in a readme or something?

Hi Bryce !

Total insurance is to BACK-UP your Train Simulator folder to somewhere else on your hard drives or partitions before changing anything ! ;-)

There is no Install / Un-Install problem with MSTSBin 1.6.1 ! What you read about were odd-balls caused by other programs running at the same time and are not touching the Registry other than recording when they were last used !

The few additional key functions supplied by 1.6.1 are being referred to in the README which installs with it as well as other comprehensive instructions on how to use it.

There is also Kev Robert's "Rear Cab File Maker" for creating them easily in the File Library !

Take care, O t t o.

After many hours of runnng BIN, I just didn't like the results. Many I did something wrong, expected a Cadillac experience on a Pinto system. I pulled the plug on it and must say I like the stock view. I did like the added views but I didn't like the closeness. I treid it several ways changing the screen but I like my Pinto view.
