View Full Version : MARS Light on V4 F Units cast Red glow With MSTS Bin 1.6

I just installed MSTS Bin 1.6 and I was checking out an activity that uses V4 F Units from 3D Trains. When I turned the headlights on full, which turns on the MARS Light, the scenery took on a pinkish red cast. Has anyone experienced this and if so what is the fix?

Yep, I have the same problem..as far as I know there is no fix as of yet. It seems the bin1.6 illuminates both spheres of light, giving it the pinkish glow you speak of. Hopefully George will read this and see what magic he can do with it.

Same here with my engines... some of the scenery takes on a very bright red color even in broad daylight.

MSTSBin v1.6.092223 does not have this bug. You might want to roll back a version if you can find a copy.
According to the website, MSTSBin v1.6.12.01 is due out soon. Hopefully, some of these lighting issues have been addressed.

Same problem here; both spheres illuminate creating pinkish glow. The red sphere even remains on when lites are extinguished. Hopefully Georges can do a fix, as I really don't want to roll back the bin!

Yep, this has been noted by many others and posted in other threads. No fix yet to date.
