Curious if there is a way to disable the frequent changing views on this. I was in the yard cam and it messed up and I lost the spot to get back in it. I also would like to be able to just sit down in the "sleepy seat"(conductor side) and watch the scenery without it changing on me too.

Presently the way to do that is to manually edit the mode in the .act file to 0. The activity will now be listed as an ITR and will run as one. If you have more than one ITR in a route only the first alphabetically will run so you may have to store or move some to get the one you want.

Hi Kenny !

Ctrl+Numpad #2 is a new function for me. What does it do and in which view ?

The new Yard Cam View is being discussed here:

http://forums.flightsim.com/ts/dcboard.php?az=show_topic&forum=3&topic_id=180810&mesg_id=180810&page=

The extended #4 views supplied by the MSTSBin 1.7.0929 patch are brilliant. The #4 key toggling from one to the other now retain the view until either toggled again or all of the train has passed the camera. Has retained Ctrl-Shift-9 camera views, allowing the camera to be rotated on a horizontal plane.

As for the conductor's seat view in the driving cab, using the left-arrow key usually lets you see what he is looking at sitting in his seat, but that can be modified in the loco's *.cfg file !

Open the ITR screen in MSTS before running the activity and uncheck the box "CHANGE VIEWS". Now when you select AI mode in the activity to watch the trains or scenery the camera view will not change automatically, but you can still select the ones you want manually, as normal.

I did ask if George could make the default, as off ( unchecked ) rather than on, but was ignored.
