Past flightsim and FSX followed this path.
1. Jan 2006 FSX announced.
2. 5 months later we saw our first screen shots.
3. 6 months later FSX was released.
MSTS II
1. Jan 2007 Anounnced.
2. 8 months later we get screen shots.
3. 1 year & 3 months later MSTS II released.
Why is there such a huge gap between first screen shot and release?
And could the Vista only be a hint that MSTS II will be a 64 bit simulator?

Because we want to make sure you have lots of time to express your opinions.

How about less expressing for an earlier release date.

Well what's different is this isn't FSX?? BTW your timeline isn't even accurate. Correct timeline was:
1. Jan 2006 FSX announced and first screenshots shown.
2. 9 months later FSX was released.
I also don't understand your "past flightsim" statement as each version of flightsim has had its own timeline.

And a buggier piece of software, no doubt.

As far as I'm concerned, I hope they take their time. It comes out when it comes out. And the understanding I had was that it will be designed for Vista, but will also be installable to XP too, not just Vista. I may be wrong on that though.
