That's right, I'm an artiste, so don't insult my creations cuz I got sensitive feelings and I'll run off to live with the hermits.

Made a free roam scenario with 22 US freightcars and 7 European freightcars, one German and 2 US engines, dunno if they didn't want to play with each other or the US engines were the problem, but the scenario crashed the program when I came back to load it the first time after making it, and always crashed trying to load it after that. Went in thru the side door, by starting a different scenario and flying over to click on the marker for the one that wouldn't load, found this;

Get this often when first placing US engines in routes made from the default template, these had good numbers when I saved the scenario and somehow they got corrupted.

After deleting and replacing the engines, saved, exited railsim, tried again, this time loaded okay.

Hmmm, didn't have the US engines when I first put this transfer table here. Well, Goldilocks, this engine is too small, this one is too big;

But the SD40 looks JUUUUST right! Drive her onto the transfer table, hit G, nada. Back up, pull forward, nothing works, no matter how carefully I center it, it LOOKS like it just fits but the table won't move. Okay, so take advantage of the changing engines feature, hit #8 and fly over to the little switcher that's on the track aligned with the exit track and hit G, see if that persuades the transfer table to come over.

Worked like a charm, with one slight drawback, forgot to bring the engine with it.

David Copperfield effect, locolevimotivation. Well, been doing this long enough I can predict what will happen if I click the levitating engine to select it, so get my finger on the print screen key, see if we can launch this directly into the coal mine, save all that running around on railroad tracks.

Got the distance, got the elevation, got the hang time, but shanked it to the right and missed.

Well, need smaller engines or a bigger transfer table, or some goal posts at the opposite end. Back to the drawing board! :rolleyes:

We will make a larger traverser and release it soon.

Sorry to not have included one that can cope with the NA locos.

give me a few days.

best regards

Derek

That would help, playing football with locomotives is kinda hard on the toes. :eek:

If you're doing a wish list some smaller locos would also be nice, like a GP7 or something that would fit better with European cars.

How about an engine that would force bigger turntables and reverser?

BIG BOY.
