Something no commuter likes to see, their train about to leave without them on it!

I must say, although I was initially looking forward to the Cajon route the most, I'm really having a blast running these British passeneger trains.

I discovered (by accident) tonight that the bumpers at the end of tracks are not just decorations...they actually work! I came into the end of my route at Slough a little fast tonight, saw the bumper coming, thought "great here comes a derailment", but nope, the train hit the bumper with a resounding thud, bounced back a little bit and was none worse for the wear. Not that I would recommend stopping trains this way on a regular basis... ;-)

PS sorry for the thumbnail rather than embedded picture, not sure how to do this with the forum software...

Photobucket or image shack is easiest for multiple screenshots now, but for 2 or 3 you can click the manage attachments, view the attached picture, right click and select "copy image location". Then place the cursor in the text box, click the "insert image" icon, hit CTRL V to paste the location into the box that asks for the URL.

Feel your pain tho, some people are so confused about this new forum setup they're posting screenshots in the loco design forum instead of the screenshot forum.

Geez I wondered where that shot went...I guess that explains why I'm running into bumpers instead of stopping the train where I should! Note to self: Do not run trains or attempt to post screenshots after bedtime ;-)

I wonder how I ended up in here...I never even venture in this forum!

Mods, please move....sniper thanks for the tips...

Had a weirder problem when Nels was fiddling with this, I posted some railsim shots in the screen shot forum, came back a few hours later and there wasn't any "screenshot forum", it had been relabeled the "MSTS screenshot forum"! Fortunately the route was the railsim "MSTS" (Metropolitan Suburban Transit System) route, but Nels moved it anyway a few days later.
