Found these at www.largedownloads.ea.com/pub/railsim downloaded them to package manager in Rail Sim file un-zip, and install. For the N.A. Cajon route. Can't get over a line of freight cars being called "Rake of cars". Some good switching opportunites for Eagle Fan, lol

ftp://largedownloads.ea.com/pub/railsim/ Sorry, this seems to work better.

Very trans-atlantic. :) Although rake is normally used about passenger carriages.

Not sure if you all noticed or not, but this is the FTP site where all the retailer packages are stored. Great find. When I bought my copy at Game Stop, it came with a code to get the Oro4 file. The Best Buy version comes with the code for Bar2, etc...
Just copy all the .rpk files along with the setup.exe file (you may already have that) to your root folder for Rail Simulator and run the setup. It will install any .rpk file in the root folder.

Won't the exe file install any rpk file no matter were I have them installed? Or as you state, they have to be in the root folder. sorry about the date as I am new to Train sim. I have been a Flight simmer for many years and I am just getting the hang of the file structure in RS.

Glad I could help. Since I first wrote the original thread in January, I'm surprised that more scenarios have not been created. I have a total of 9 scenarios on the Cajon route, and I know of a few more in the D/L library that I might have to try soon. Slowly but surely new content is being added. I would love to run a new North American route. Seem to be a few right around the corner.

Fantastic Screen shots PB. Its amazing how UK rolling stock differs from its USA counter-parts in design and functions. Very unique railroading to say the least.

Thanks Denis!
They "were" the British Rail Standard passenger carriages for their time. Although perfectly normal in appearance to us Brits, very different and as you say "unique" I should imagine to onlookers abroad.
MK1's ...

MK2's

Mk2e's Air Conditioned.... When new in the 70's, we nicknamed them Dentist Chairs because of their high backed seats or Coffins because they had no windows (except for the doors)

All the above can be used in RS scenarios now Digital Traction has released the MK2e
The other type of loco hauled passenger carriage is the MK3 which is similar in appearance to the HST coaches.
I can't speak for foreign railways, but on the subject of Scenarios to which this thread is about. I'm sure my fellow country men (and women) will agree that our varied BR passenger carrying coaches and their period livery's, give us plenty to think about when it comes to creating many different scenarios for RS!
