Just read this.....

Income that’s not considered “earned” includes interest and dividends, pensions, unemployment benefits, alimony and child support.

So...if your income is from a pension you are SOL?

Everything listed there is considered a private sector entitlement, and not direct earned income from the job.

Be glad you still have a pension for the time being. Many do not.

The whole damn "stimulus" thing is a sham anyway. It simply amounts to opening the treasury to the poor working class suffering from gas-price induced cabin fever so they can buy gas at inflated prices to get out of the house, and the money ends up in big oil pockets anyway. Its still wealth transfer from the treasury to the wealthy, but its a bit different in that the money passes through the hands of poor people briefly. Trickle up instead of trickle down.

Its more "political stimulus" than anything.

Komissar Kenny you sound more strident with each post...

Are you still insisting that you are a 6 figure MBA executive??????

You sound more like you are channeling Gus Hall to me....

Well isn't that wonderful. It sure didn't bother the government to take $1,000 in federal tax on my minuscule pension then I have to send the state another $400 for my massive windfall. :)

Whole damn thing sucks!

Once again, I have to do the research...

http://money.cnn.com/2008/02/08/pf/taxes/rebates_what_you_need_to_know/index.htm

Looks to me like if you paid taxes, you're eligible.

Here's a calculator to find out if you're eligible and how much you'll get:

Doggone it, Bob, there you went and made me do the work again!

Us? Paul you ain't us! You are the busy body neighbor to the north that lives under our shield and feels free to criticize us at every turn while contributing nothing....

So do us a favor and save that "us" shyte for some fool that buys it!

The hilarious part of this is our "unpopular, lame-duck, stupid" President shoved this down the Democrats' collective throats like a Mama bird shoves a worm down a chick's mouth! He pretty much made them lay down, roll over, lick his hand, and beg!

Approximately 150 files in the library have my name on them. That's my contribution here.

Will there be anything else?

False flag argument - not talking about contributing to train-sim...
talking about contributing to North American Defense....

I thought that was pretty obvious....

I don't know Robert, I've read that page and many others. The only article that specifically mentions pensions is here, second question down:

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/23075438/page/2/

Hope to hell I get it, I've already spent it. :)

Bob

Chuck, take a 'nice' pill.

We dont need Paul to stand on a wall.

We have your war-torn, govt fund-sucking, beligerent ass to do that for the whole world from behind a keyboard!

Have a nice day, buddy! :)

Oh, we are still doing our part despite what you think. We're also in Afganistan, so your masters can brag about the co-operation you're getting from SOME members of Nato.

But then, to adress your specific concern about NA defense, how can I possibly answer that when your own commissars arent interested in stemming the invasion you have currently coming thru your southern 'border'? While some of us might want to be in Hollywood, there's no stampede from here to there by Canadians. We are not the enemy, you'll find them within.

Lashing out in all directions hoping something sticks never works Chuck. You've been here long enough to have figured that out by now.

So be cool.

You must be confused! <as usual>

If you looked over any of my posts on all things political, you would see plenty of proof that she's not for me.
