Still waiting for a few things to get sorted out before expanding that onto the rest of the PO&N, meantime I decided to look at the "puzzle switches" on the Chicago Metro. Hmmm, how many of them dwarfs would I need for each slip switch? Well, the way the Dwarf Shunt 2T works, you place a primary trip next to the signal, secondary trip #1 on the track you want to designate as main, and secondary trip #2 on the diverge. If the primary trip traces a path to secondary trip #1 it shows green, if the path is to secondary trip #2 it shows yellow. If it isn't tracing a path to either secondary trip it shows red, which eliminates the need for an additional Dwarf Shunt 1T at the four corners.

In the service on the right side, path set straight thru the doubleslip, green for my track. Track on the left is red since the trailing point switch on that side is set against the left track.

Hit the G to set the doubleslip for the curve, right track signal goes yellow.
Hit the #8 key and move over so I'm driving the train on the left now;

Straight thru path for left track, red for right track. hit the G key;

Switch throws curved, dwarf signal for left track goes yellow.
Gonna be rather tedious placing and linking all these, but I think the end result, in addition to looking cool at night, will eliminate the need for that silly F3 window. :cool:
