Reading the tutorials, I see how to add a "Freight/Fuel Pickup" to a locomotive. So I tried this at Victorville. Double-clicking on the circle w/ the fuel tank, I got the properties box. I used "+" to add "Victorville Loader 1".
This did show up in the work order as needing to pick up bulk freight at VV Loader 1. So good so far.
Then to test it I ran this. I hauled an empty hopper to that point and used "T" to load, and it filled with what looked like coal.
BUT, on the "scorecard' I did not get credit for picking up the freight.
1. Is there a certain type of car I need to use? I.e. maybe a covered hopper?
2. How do I specify WHICH car needs to receive the bulk freight? If I wanted to fill a whole string of cars how would I call for that?
3. There seems to be an unloading grate on the track next to VV Loader 1 but I don't believe that is a working load point because I cannot click on it in the scenario editor nor could I manually unload anything when parked over that grate.
Any help on loading/unloading freight cars, calling for that in scenarios, and accomplishing those tasks while driving, would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
Steve
