It seems that RSDL has disabled using the offset tool for track spacing in the MK 1 patch. Does anyone know of way to work around this? I'm building an interurban line so I want to have different spacings between mainlines depending on whether I'm doing streen running or on a private right of way outside of town.

Yes, you can create two pieces of track side by side and then change the coordinates, of one of them, to the spacing you desire. I am finishing an excel workbook for aimining straight between points and aligning objects at grade. I can add that too along with instructions on how to change the files. files.http://forums.flightsim.com/vbts/showthread.php?t=268111

Side by side for straight track is easy, copy and paste. For doubletrack simplest is to make a set of custom track rules and include them with the route, I cloned the All Track rule and made an All Yard with 4 meter spacing and All Main with five meter spacing. For a traction route it would probably be best to set the minimum radius for 20 meters and make overhead wires on by default, and then clone that for different parallel spacing.

Zipfile in there overwrites my original All Yard rule with 30 meter minimum, which probably STILL isn't tight enough for streetcar tracks. Anyone know what the usual radius of them things were?
