I tried to install the Art Plugins from Kuju's website into 3d Max 6. When I startup 3d Max, I get a series of error messages that the plugins are not for the current version. The install instructions in the Kuju file "Max 6.zip" are written referencing 3d Max version 5 but I assumed that was a simple "cut and paste" error. I looked at the other supplied plug ins (Max 5.zip, Max 7.zip) etc. Even tried installing each one into 3d Max 6. Still get the error messages.
Anyone figure this out? Or, let me guess, Kuju screwed up AGAIN!! (If it's my screw up I'll publicly apologize to Kuju ;-)
Nope - same issue here using Max v6. :(

Do you suppose they even care that it doesn't work? I haven't seen one "peep" about this on their web site.
Oh well, so much for modeling (I am NOT switching over and trying to learn 3d Canvas just for this program)

I think I've tried that. I'll give it one more shot but don't have much hope.

Well I'll be a monkey's uncle (does that date me??). I cleaned up all reminents of all previous attempts to install the plugins and then installed the Max V7 plugins into V6 (making the obvious correction in the line that goes into the file plugin.ini). Max started up with no error messages and I am getting the Kuju IGS file type in the export options. I think the key was a clean install (removal of previous attempts)
Alexi, you are a genius, a shear genius.
Now to see if it REALLY works.
