It would be interesting to see some of Rich's routes converted over to KRS. Or if he reads this it may be easier to create something new?

Actually they all have to be started from scratch, no way to convert an MSTS route to railsim. Rich might or might not do something eventually, at the moment he's having an attack of the lazies;

And don't want to take the time to learn the railsim editors. Get your whole MC gang together and ride over to 3Dtrains and start clamoring, maybe he'll get off his pineapples and try a simple East Metro route if enough people want it. :cool:

Rich gave away his copy of RS, so unless he buys it again I doubt there will be any thing come from him.

Heya Hawk! Getting any riding in? Was just looking at you on www.wunderground.com/, 61 degrees down there in sunny Georgia! Won't get above freezing here until next Monday, but I already saw a couple of these screwy cheeseheads on their Harleys skidding around on the ice. :rolleyes:

Well, still time before MSTS XXX, and with railsim prices headed for the five dollar dump bin I suspect he'll be back eventually, even if only to dabble.

I'm still snowmobiling for a little longer here in W. Michigan. Bike comes out real soon though.

Actually, as of about 10:30 AM, March 8th, it's snowing down here in the beautiful, sunny south. :rolleyes:

Awfully nice of you guys to suggest this. :)

I think you guys just gotta keep at it until you can put a booklet together like Mike Vone did so us lazy guys can jump right in. For me I have no problem putting a route together for RS but there's just no extra time for me to start all over again with tinkering and keep up with making a living or vice versa. I'm currently working on an East Metro upgrade because it's about time I finally put that PO&N coconutware (msts version) to RIP finally. Sure, it's taking me seven years to do it but this time I think I finally got the goods to do it. :p

You'll NEVER pass me up, ya bum, mine is one of the standards by which other fictional routes are judged!

"works of art such as Seaview 4 and Port Ogden" hee-hee, top THAT! :p

Seriously, still a bit early to write a book since I don't think we have even half the answers yet. By the time we do you'll probably be writing an MSTS 2 book anyway. :cool: What you should do at this point is send an email to RSDL and see what they're willing to pay you for subcontracting a route, I'd bet at least 50% of Canton fans ain't buying railsim simply because you aren't developing for it. :eek:
