I'm beginning to think that perhaps I don't have the Dev tools installed properly. I want to try and start a steam loco chuff proxy file from scratch and cannot figure out how to get the asset editor to give me a prototype to start from. Before I try a reinstall let me ask if I've missed something in the fine print somewhere about how to do this.

I printed out the Black 5 chuff proxy to study. Using Landscape format and 10 point print, it came to 35 pages! The thing is apparently quite flexible, but very very dense to understand. I want to start from scratch in order to have a clearer understanding of what goes with what in the file.

I hope this is what you are looking for. Not good at explaining so here is a picture.:) Not good with pictures either. May need your magnifying glass for this one. Basically once you get to the engine folder under the Steam folder, right click. The box that pops up will have the option to create a new engine file.

Thanks. I doubt that I would have figured that one out without help.
