PO&N Scenario Problems

I installed PO&N and the US2 update, then all the scenarios and rollingstock (Except Rescue Me) and whenever I click to select a loco when you load the scenario: the game crashes. Any help please? -Chris

By default PO&N US2 comes with seven free roam scenarios, six of those use nothing but default US trainsets. Does this happen in every scenario when you click on any SD40? What happens when you click on an SD40 in the default Barstow - San Bernardino route free play? I note you previously posted a question about changing locos in a scenario, answer to that is either RS KickStart or the sticky thread on how to create a free roam scenario in the general forum, did you change an engine before you had this problem?

Need more info on specifics so we can narrow down ten zillion possible causes. Can you run any scenario on any route without crashing?

Ok, these are ANY scenario when you click the SD40; and it works fine on the Cajon Pass. I did not change the locos at all and I installed all the trainsets in the default directory of the installers. -Chris

I also want to add that if I add a loco and driver to a scenario and select that; the game still will crash. -Chris

Well, that's a new one, usually if a scenario is gonna crash it does it when it loads, never saw one wait for you to click on an engine and then crash. Has to be in the route tho, if the SD40 works on another route.

Only thing I can think of at this point is a possible out of synch condition, some of the early scenarios had a different track database update. Try installing us2patch.zip (http://www.train-sim.com/cgi/kdl/main/36/us2patch.zip?eSFRx00B) last, after everything else, see if that fixes it.

Didn't mean for that to be a link, I was just copying and pasting the text. You originally said " I installed PO&N and the US2 update", so you already have it, just look for us2patch.zip and reinstall that.
