Empty loose consists?

When I check scenarios with KickStart, I often see numerous Loose Consists that are further identified as Empty Consists. Will deleting these prevent the scenario from running? Do they cause additional overhead?

I haven't used Kickstart in serious mode but, if you're sure they are just "asthetic", then it will make no difference to the running of a scenario.

As for the overhead, I think you will find it negligible, except when "in sight".
